The use of vintage frames for my art comes from my love of combining antiques with modern design. When I am painting an abstract, I am expressing my feelings of the here and now and the vintage frame envelopes that thought with the solidarity of an anchored vintage moment.
There is a sense of nostalgia when you combine old and new. I carefully select Vintage and Antique frames to create a sense of presence for each art piece. Hand selected from my visits to local vintage shops in New York and Connecticut afford me the ability to showcase these unique presentations with grace and refinement.
